Queries

This section allows you to run a series of queries on the database. Outputs are displayed in an interactive table which can be exported as a csv file for further manipulation of the data using Microsoft Excel. Alternatively, you can sort data in this table by clicking on the titles at the top of each column and/or access further details for any site by clicking on the hyperlinks provided. Five queries are available as follows:

• Sites by OS map: select an Ordnance Survey 1:50,000 scale map to display a list of associated lakes.
• Sites by Geology: select a geology type to display a list of associated lakes.
• Sites by Macrophyte Species: select a macrophyte species (and abundance rating) to display a list of sites at which that species is present.
• Sites by NVC Type: select an NVC type to display a list of associated lakes.
• Designation Macrophytes: select a designated site to display a list of recorded macrophytes.
• National Nature Reserve: select an NNR site to display a list of surveys
• Site of Special Scientific Interest: select a SSSI site to display a list of surveys
• Special Area of Conservation: select a SAC site to display a list of surveys
• Alien Macrophytes: select a country to display the full list of alien macrophytes in Britain along with which sites the species have been recorded at.
