The Standing Waters Database website aims to achieve overall compliance with the Web Accessibility Initiative's (WAI) guidelines links to an external site, for priority 2 (AA) and aims to conform to the World Wide Web (W3C) links to an external site Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 1 (WCAG1) links to an external site level 2 (AA).

Text Size

This site has been tested with the following browsers IE 7 , Mozilla/6.0 and 11, WebbIE 3.0, Safari, Google Chrome, Opera 12.

Screen readers

The Standing Waters Database has also be tested with the following screen readers Sensory Thunder version 2.0.21 and NVDA 2011.2.
It is recommended to use IE, FireFox, WebbIE or Safari when using either of the above screens readers.

Images

The images on the Standing Waters Database all contain a short alternative text which descibes the image or it's function as appropriate along which copyright ownership.

PDF Files

The Standing Waters Database contains the original survey documents in a PDF File. All the information in the survey PDF files are stored in the Standing Waters Database as an accessible format.
